On February 16, 2026, faculty members of the Department of Machine Design of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechanical Engineering — Prof. O.V. Shevchenko, Assoc. Prof. D.Yu. Dzhulii, and Assoc. Prof. N.V. Minitska — served as jury members at the second stage of the research competition organized by the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Section “Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering”).
The students presented well-structured and relevant research projects, demonstrating a high level of academic preparation, solid theoretical knowledge, and strong presentation skills. In total, 12 research papers were submitted in this section by students of grades 9–11.
The jury noted the high level of preparation of the young researchers, their genuine interest in engineering sciences, and their motivation for scientific inquiry.
We congratulate the students and their mentors on their excellent results and wish them success and victory at the third stage of the competition.
